WHO NEEDS CERTIFIED DEATH CERTIFICATES?

This list of people, organizations, companies and other entities that might require a Certified Copy of the Death Certificate does not apply to everyone. Financial situations are different for everyone and the amount of Certified copies needed will be different. Don't forget, if you don't order enough to start with, they are always available from the Registering Health Dept. or County Registrar. New laws going into effect Jan. 1, 2003 will restrict who may purchase a Certificate from the County and State.

Certified Copies in California are $13.00 each in most counties as of Jan. 1, 2003. Some counties do add surcharges.
